Here are a few updates for August 2023.
Project & Contract
1. Spreadsheet Icon at Right Side Panel Attachment Panel (FC: Apply to all TH6 screens)
At Synergix, we always seek ways to enhance the experience of all users. This month, we made some enhancements by changing the icons of attachments including spreadsheets, Word and PDF files. The new icons are simple yet more outstanding, making it easier for users to differentiate.

Payroll & Finance
1. Mass Generate User Account For New Employee (FC: TH6_GLOBAL_EMPLOYEE_E1_PY_SCHEME – Global Employee)
In Synergix ERP software, we added a new tab called “User Account”. There is a “Generate User ID” column. Values can be Y or N.
- If Y, the system will generate a user account and will need to validate if the company email address is filled in.
- If N, the system will not generate user account for the employee.

2. Create Occupational Employment Dataset Survey (FC: TH6_PY_400380)
The Occupational Employment Dataset Survey intends to gather the main information below:
- Personal details
- Main job title & duties/functions
- Employment type (Full-time or part-time)
- Hours worked & wages
- Work location & premise details
Implication of the OED survey:
Ministry of Manpower will base on the salary indicated in the Occupational Employment Dataset survey to see if employees are paid at the minimum wage. If the Occupational Employment Dataset survey is not submitted, the Ministry of Manpower will not allow the employer to hire foreign workers.

3. Block Leave Application (A1:07) (FC: TH6_BLOCK_LV_APP)
This block leave application is used for scenarios when a company has block leave and the Human Resource department helps to apply block leave for a group of employees. User will use the block leave application under the following scenario:
For Chinese New Year, in Singapore, Public holiday is for 2 days (1st day and 2nd day of Chinese New Year).
Some companies, especially those in the construction sector, will close until the 7th day of the Chinese New Year. So from the 3rd day to the 7th day, the office will close and the number of days from the 3rd day to the 7th day. Chinese New Year will be deducted from employee annual leave. During December, some companies will close in the last week. So they will deduct from the employee’s annual leave balance.
4. Allow User to Select Multiple Codes at Report Engine (apply for Filter type = Inset and Not Inset in Report Filters)
In order for users not to have to manually copy out the code, Synegix ERP software will allow user to select multiple search results at one go and then auto-populate to filter data and separate with commas.

SCM & MFG
1. Report Attributes (FC: TH6_REPORT_ATTRIBUTES)
This report allows users to know which business format is being maintained at which tab – Draft, Outstanding or History. We also created a new column RPT_ATTRIBUTES.sub_trans_type_desc instead of the hardcoding description on the screen.
