We would like to bring to your kind attention the following updates for the month of July 2019.
PAYROLL & FINANCE
1. Timesheet Amount Verification Report for Hourly Rate Employee
Now, Synergix E1 ERP System users can generate this report to verify hourly rate employee’s payout.
2. Payslip Sales Tax Detail by Tax Type (Excel) (FC: TH6R_PY_100056)
ERP System users can generate this report to view Sales Tax related payout to employees. The report will show the Subtotal for each Sales Tax code.
3. Payslip to show Gross Salary (FC: 24811)
In Draft Payslip screen, Gross Salary will now also be displayed along with Nett Salary. This is for Synergix E1 ERP System users to do their own sample checking of CPF calculation and payroll components subjected to CPF contribution.
1. Lump Sum Discount in Project Claim (FC: TH5 – 91181)
We understand that sometimes ERP System users would like to give a discount to your clients for a certain work done. This new feature is for the ERP System users to indicate the discount as a lump sum amount in the PJ Claim.
In order to enable this feature, ERP System users have to go to Module Config – Enable Additional Lump Sum Discount in Progressive Claim and turn it into YES. An additional field with “Discount Amt/Home” will be displayed as follow:
Upon submission of PJ Claim, discount will be flowing to invoice automatically. The total amount before tax shall be the amount after retention and after discount.
2. E1 Project Quotation: Budget Cost at Job Scope level
A new feature in Synergix E1 Project Quotation is released which allows ERP System users to capture the budget cost for each lowest phase. The budget cost could be useful information to help the users in determining the unit cost/phase value more precisely.
Firstly, Synergix E1 ERP System users need to go to Module Config – Enable “Budget Cost” at Job Scope level in E1 Project Quotation for project costing by Budget Category, turn it into YES. When the config is turned on, two new columns with the title “Budget Cost” and “Budget Profit/Margin%” will be displayed in <Job Scope/BQ> tab. The figure keyed also will be displayed on the Amount Summary Panel as follows:
Kindly take note that Synergix E1 ERP system will not flow any “Budget Cost” data into Project Order when the Project Quotation is confirmed from Outstanding.
3. Project Team Member Replacement
As we understand that one employee could be involved in multiple projects, if there is any case the employee resigned and need to replace his/her position to another employee, instead of going through Project Variation to change the employee project by project. There is a new screen for the user to replace the position of a resigned employee to another employee within a few simple steps.
The interface of the screen in Synergix E1 ERP System is as below:
1. Manufacturing Production Floor Report
(FC: TH5 – TH5R_MFG_100050, RPT_KEY=TH5R_MFG_100050)
Production Floor Report lets ERP System users to track the Work Order Stage that is pending completion.
2. Sales Quotation Header Discount (FC: E1 – TH6_SALES_QUOTATION)
In Synergix E1 ERP System Screen, Sales Quotation now supports Header Discount. ERP system users can provide lump sum Header Discount instead of applying Line Item Discount to all Line Items.
Please noted that if 1 Sales Order has a Header Discount and multiple partial deliveries, it will not be possible to combine Delivery Orders into 1 LG AR Invoice.
3. View & Download Finished Goods Inventory Master Attachment(s) in Production Planning Screen (FC: E1 – TH6_SALES_QUOTATION)
ERP System users may upload documents such as Drawings and Spec Sheets into the FG Inventory Master Attachment tab.
When planning for production, ERP System users can download and view the attachment(s).
