Here are some January 2023 updates!
Project & Contract
1. Allow users to change sales tax code in Subcon Invoice (FC: TH6_PJ_SUBCON_INVOICE, TH6_PJ_SUBCON_INVOICE_E2, TH6_PJ_SUBCON_INVOICE_V1)
Singapore government increased GST from 7% to 8% with effect on 01 Jan 2023, hence we update all the outstanding subcon contracts from GST7 to GST8.
In this month’s update, Synergix ERP software will allow users to change the sales tax codes at Subcon Invoice stage. The user is now allowed to change sales tax at subcon claim/subcon invoice stage. Some users have cases where the work done for the year 2022 is still in progress and their subcon will issue them the invoice with GST7 in 2023, so the ability to change the sales tax code is needed.

2. Enhancement of Import Function of Project Claim (FC: TH6_PJ_PROJECT_CLAIM_V1)
Before, ERP System displays the Import pop-up in Project Claim screen and users are unable to download the claim template in the import panel. To bring convenience to users, we have done a modification. Precisely, we enhance the Import panel to allow users to download the BZF directly in the import pop-up.

3. Rename “% of Completion” to “% Cost-To-Date” in Project Summary Report (FC: TH5-4553)
The report Project Summary by Project Class in Home Currency (Security By Team Member) (E2, TH5)- Form Code: TH5-4553 used to have “% of Completion” column which is calculated = Actual Cost/Budget Cost. The column name may be confusing as users are unable to identify whether it is cost completion % or billing completion %. Hence, in this month’s update, we renamed the column to “% cost-to-date”.

4. New Standard Project Budget Business Format (FC: TH6BS_PJ_300365)
In Synergix ERP System, we released a new project budget business format to make the format more modern and easier for users to read.

Payroll & Finance
1. Add “Employee Payroll Category” and “Department” into PY_SCHEME monthly timesheet screen (FC: TH6_PY_MONTHLY_TIMESHEET_PY_PAYROLL_SCHEME)
Synergix Software users have many job sites. We made enhancements in payroll that will help customers to drill into specific job sites easily. Below are some of the changes we have made:
- Remove “Voucher No.” column.
- Add “Employee Payroll Category” (Allow user to filter and sort) after Employee Name. Display description.
- Add “Department” (Allow user to filter and sort) after Employee Payroll Category. Display description.
