PROJECT & CONTRACT

1.Enhance Contract to auto change and update New Contract Start & End Date upon Renewal (Form code: TH6_CONTRACT_ORDER_V1) 

Applicable to: Contract Order screen – Contract module. 

Sometimes when users renewing contracts, they forget to change contract start/expiry date, generate invoice and bill then revenue being posted to wrong year/period. To prevent this situation, Synergix team enhanced the Contract Order screen so that the contract start date of a new renewal is automatically defaulted based on the previous contract order renewal. 

Contract Start Date of a new renewal = Contract Expiry Date of previous renewal +1.  

Contract Expiry Date = New contract Start date + Duration (that copied from previous renewal) 

Contract Date = Current day when user click Renewal  

This helps ensure that users do not forget to change Contract Start/Expiry Date and save time to maintaining the Contract period and prevents Revenue from being posted to wrong year/period.

PAYROLL & FINANCE

1.Payroll Claim Calculation for Transfer Employee

In Synergix ERP Software, when an employee was transferred between databases (e.g., subsidiaries), the system treated the employee as a new joiner in the new database. As a result, claim balances, validations, and capping limits were reinitialized. 

The system now identifies transfer employees based on their contract history and automatically creates a Claim Opening Balance in the new database when Employee Master is updated and Payroll Generation is processed. Claim amounts from the previous database for the same year are carried forward.  

Claim validations now use the Actual Join Date and Actual Cessation Date across databases.  

Payroll generation logic is also enhanced to correctly determine whether over-claimed amounts should be deducted based on transfer or resignation status. 

This enhancement ensures accurate claim tracking when employees transfer between subsidiaries or associated companies. Customers can now maintain continuous claim balances across databases without manual adjustments.

2. Payroll: Document Expiry Dashboard – ID: 100424807 

Synergix Payroll Module have dashboard for Work Pass Expiry and Certification Expiry. With this enhancement, we will merge all into one dashboard so as not to occupy much space and user can easier check both of them.  

We have merged Work Pass and Certification Expiry into a single Document Expiry dashboard to provide a centralized view of all upcoming expirations. Users can now monitor employee documents more efficiently and apply filters such as Expiry in Next (Days), Department, Identification, and Certification to quickly identify items that require attention.
