This month, we are excited to introduce several enhancements aimed at improving system efficiency, strengthening operational control, and increasing visibility across your core business processes. These updates are designed to help your team work more productively, reduce manual effort, and gain clearer insights for smarter decision-making.
At Synergix, we remain dedicated to continuously improving our ERP system to ensure it delivers practical value and supports your organisation’s long-term growth.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Let’s explore what’s new this March!
PAYROLL & FINANCE
1. Payroll: (PDPA Regulation) Cannot use PDPA information as part of password
Singapore government regulations no longer allow the use of NRIC/FIN as part of authentication, requiring stronger protection of personal identifiable information.
Synergix ERP system now validates and prevents users from including sensitive personal data in their passwords, which are consecutive 4 characters from NRIC/FIN, birthdate formats, and phone numbers.
For example: Employee’s NRIC is T0000001P, user cannot use T000, 0000, 0001, 001I for their password.
This ensures passwords are more secure and not easily guessable using personal information. As a result, customer accounts are better protected against unauthorized access and data breaches. The enhancement also ensures compliance with updated government regulations while promoting stronger password hygiene for users.
2. Payroll: Changes to CPF contribution with effect from 2027 for senior workers
Based on Singapore government announcement, from 1 January 2027, CPF contribution rates for employees aged above 55 to 65 will be increased to strengthen their retirement adequacy. The changes will apply to wages earned from 1 January 2027 onwards.
We add these changes in CPF contribution rate of senior workers with effective date from is 1/1/2027 follow government announcement – refer to screenshot for more details.

3. Enhance additional payment to prompt user to verify duplicate payment (Formcode: TH6_ADDITIONAL_PAYMENT_BY_ITEM_BUDGET_CATEGORY)
The system used to allows importing additional payment files as long as all entries are valid, without checking or notifying about potential duplicate payments. After this enhancement, Synergix ERP system will detect potential duplicate payments based on employee code, service code, payroll month, and amount. Upon voucher submission, a warning message will be displayed to prompt users to verify if the duplicate payment is intentional. This helps prevent unintended duplicate payouts while maintaining flexibility for valid cases. As a result, users gain better control, reduce payroll errors, and improve overall data accuracy.

4. Employee Demographics Dashboard
Applicable to: Payroll module.
A new Employee Demographics Dashboard is introduced to provide a consolidated view of employee data. The dashboard includes key sections such as Department distribution, Work Pass classification, Nationality, and Gender by Age Group. Users can filter data based on a selected date to view workforce composition at any point in time.
